Very glad to be home in LA after a few days in the hot, hot, HOT middle of America. After living in Southern California for almost five years, I forget what it's like to have the weather so drastically effect your mood.
Or hairstyle, for that matter.
But life's weather woes aside, I'm back in the work week groove with little time to spare. I'll be uploading some pictures from our weekend soon, but for now I wanted to start Monday off with this snapshot of my window box's first ever bud of sweet pepper. I love (not to mention need) its simple reminder that patience, though practiced less and less in our society, does have a purpose and can sweeten life's smallest joys. Even if that joy is a soon-to-be-gobbled-up vegetable...give praise where praise is due.
